I guess I could distinguish myself better if I include my last name, which is "Dyche" (rhymes with "pike"). There probably aren't very many other people with that name.

I listened to the whole Pod of Destiny archive between the previous Bad Rapport episode and this crossover. I'm not really surprised that I liked it, given the similarities with your show.

Luke, you aren't crazy, or at least we have experienced the same delusion. You are thinking of "Buy and Buy" produced by "Inside Out" where they were selling "The Iron Whirlygig". A clockwork toy that did nothing, but came complete with disembodied Ken and Barbie heads spinning on rods (see http://www.rickstv.com/tvo/insideout.html for screenshots).

This format of leaving a question at the end of the episode may have inspired Canadian standard "The Kids of Degrassi Street", which spun off "Degrassi Junior High", "Degrassi High", a TV movie and recently (I kid you not) "Degrassi The Next Generation". 99.94% of these ended in a "what would you do moment" - most of which weren't nearly as lame?
