Even though this is not a full-fledged episode, a fact made most apparent by an almost complete lack of Carrie Dahlby and News of the Stupid, somehow this episode still managed to hit the 2 1/2 hour mark. This episode was made as a bonus for everyone out there who is a fan of the new sketch comedy group, “Cirque du So What?”, comprised of Devo Spice, ShoEboX of Worm Quartet, Chris Mezzolesta of Power Salad, and yours truly, the great Luke Ski. In it we answer all your questions and give you behind the scenes stories of the making of our first album, “Procrastinators of the Apocalypse”, with some segments recorded at KeyCon in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Canada! Home of the Arrogant Worms! At the end of the episode, I recorded a special segment in which I discuss the series finale of “LOST” with the effervescent Voice Of Kiki, because she had a lot of interesting thoughts on her blog, and because Carrie doesn’t watch “Lost”. So if you’re not into CdSW or Lost, just skip this episode, we’ll have a new regular one complete with Carrie and Stupid News up in a few days. At the very least go look at the new YouTube video of a CdSW track that Sara, Chris, and I made.

This episode has songs by Insane Ian, the Muppets, MC Frontalot, and the Former Fat Boys. It has a bunch of other stuff too, but I’m so tired right now I could pass out. I seem to remember something about Jim Henson being awesome, the demise of the video store industry, and girl scouts with pet skunks. Hey, look at this completely nonsensical YouTube video we made. See? Told you it was nonsensical. God, I’m tired.

Is it wise to record a PodCast the day after you return from a long weekend convention that’s 5 hours away from home? No, it isn’t. But we did it anyway. So prepare yourself for the least energetic show ever. We discuss the nation’s most pressing political issue: KFC’s Double Down sandwich. We also do a PenguiCon Wrap-up, and Luke breaks down the aliases of his monkey puppets. We also have comedy tracks by Patton Oswalt,Worm Quartet, The Lonely Island featuring Natalie Portman, and Dr. Steve of The Radio Adventures Of Dr. Floyd. And in case you somehow missed it, please go watch the ten minute long Bad Rapport Video Episode #1, and leave comments for it.
“Blasted Bill and Moonbeam’s Pod Of Destiny” did their first video PodCast earlier this year. It featured a time plot, a green screen, and a tiny net. Here are links to watch it on YouTube: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 (Each part is 10 minutes long, so if you’re pressed for time, just watch Part 3, that’s the most important part). It ended with a gauntlet thrown in the faces of Luke Ski and Carrie Dahlby to create a video PodCast that would top theirs. So Carrie and I are brought the fight to their turf, and world premiered the first ever video installment of our PodCast “Luke & Carrie’s Bad Rapport” at PenguiCon in Detroit on May 1st, 2010.
Due to how YouTube works, we had to keep the episode to under 10 minutes, so we managed to do an encapsulated version of our PodCast complete with fourcomedymusictracks, News of The Stupid, and many of the regular segments you tolerate so much. If you enjoy it, please tell your friends about it on line by sharing the YouTube link and/or the link to Bad Rapport .com, and also please leave comments for us here letting you know what you thought of the show. If there is enough demand, we will do more in the future. Thanks for reading, and we hope you love it!
