In this episode which was recorded mostly on Mother’s Day, Luke presents Carrie with her Mother’s Day gift from himself and Sara, which gets immediately critiqued by 14-month-old art critic Alex. Later that day, Josh was given large amounts of middle-eastern bread, but that has nothing to do with this podcast.

Carrie launches a new segment “Dahlby’s Dreamsicles”, where she tells us about her strange dreams, with Luke adding one of his own that is most definitely Insane-Ian-related.

In ‘Silver Lining Reviews’, Luke talks about the latest Michael Bay movie “Pain And Gain”, and Carrie talks about the Trey & Matt musical “The Book Of Mormon”.

Episode #084 – KCAI: Kyle Carrozza Art Institute

Fact: I learned more about how to animate from Kyle Carrozza in one afternoon than I learned in my 4 years at an expensive fine arts college in Kansas City.

This epic 4 HOUR, 18 MINUTE LONG episode of Bad Rapport chronicles my recent trip to the Los Angeles area to mow the lawn of my Kickstarter super-donor Bob “Number 11″ Mathews at his birthday party, where I also did a house concert with the aforementioned TV’s Kyle and his bubbly long-time girlfriend Lindsay Smith, who also put me up at their place in Burbank for the majority of the trip. The three of us also collaborated on this episode’s artwork.

Those of you who have an aversion to long episodes, fear not, for I have edited this episode so that our talk segments only last 15 to 20 minutes each, followed by a 4-minute-ish music break, so that my droning on and on doesn’t get too tedious. Episode #083 – Shatner Face

That look of surprise on Captain Kirk’s face will be the same one you have when you learn that this episode is under 90 minutes long! See? I told you. The first 30 minutes of this episode has Alex in it, so if you’re not interested in his ever rapidly developing vocabulary, then you might want to skip it. Carrie tells us about their trip to Arizona, Josh has an ignorance story involving a cable company customer service rep, and Luke tells us how he broke his record for sneaking snacks into the cinema.

Later, Kyle joins Luke to hear him recap MarCon. Episode #082 – Collate Your Ducks

In this episode, Luke & Carrie go to Golf Mill Mall in Niles, Illinois, just because Carrie wanted to be somewhere that wasn’t the inside of a house. We get caught up on 3 episodes worth of comments, Carrie fills us in on the new proto-words in Alex’s vocabulary, and in a last bit of MarsCon 2013 wrap-up, Luke shows Carrie some of the ‘Boob Tree’ game cards from this year (go to the comments to get links to the images, and tips on green screening). We also reminisce about old commercial jingles & campaigns of the early to mid 80′s, and do the first (albeit sloppy, unprepared, distracted, and somewhat out of breath) installment of a new segment called “Silver Lining Reviews”, where Luke talks about “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone“, and Carrie talks about her new favorite video game app. We also have funny songs by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Wanz, Ricky Gervais & Dom Johnson, The Nick Atoms, Katherine McPhee & Christian Borle, Animaniacs, & Jimmy Fallon & Justin Timberlake. In the end the big question is, ‘is Luke Ski famous enough in the eyes of Mad Magazine?’ The answer, ‘probably not’.

Episode #081 – Kyle & Luke Talk About Cartoons #4

In this episode, TV’s Kyle and the great Luke Ski discuss the animated features of 2012, telling us what they loved and what they ‘meh’-ed.

Spoiler alert: Their top 2 favs of the year were “Wreck-It Ralph” and “Hotel Transylvania”, like that’s a surprise to anyone.

They also talk about the Simpsons, Beauty and the Beast, and the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show.

Will Kyle & Luke ever get around to making this its own podcast? Based on how busy they both are, probably not.
