In a surprise move, Luke & Carrie decide to record episode #2 a week earlier than originally planned, because Luke is dying to tell the very long winded story of his bar gig last weekend that has no satisfying climactic payoff whatsoever for the listener. They also spend way too much time discussing your comments from episode 1, and Carrie talks some smack about another PodCast that she refused to name. Thank god for the new songs by Tom Smith and Flight of the ConChords, as well as News of the Stupid, or this episode, even longer than the first, would be completely unlistenable.
Songs played this week by: Tom Smith, Flight of the Conchords, and Carrie Dahlby featuring Devo Spice
Episode length: 1:19:18

Dear Luke and Carrie,
This was an awesome episode despite the Skype connection and the occasional sound problem. I was laughing my butt off during the Buffy/Willow showdown. I also gotta say that Luke’s story about his gig at the Dells was very inspiring. I tend to under-sell myself and give off a general low self-esteem vibe. If Luke can pull it together and do something cool than maybe I should throw my bullshit worries of what people think of me out the window and just get out there and be the best I can. Thanks for another “Pretty Good” episode guys!

Totally Topped Tolerable Today! Truly!
Almost did a spit-take during the Dells story, thrice. Coke and this podcast don’t mix.
Hey luke and Carrie. Congra rats on the podcast. Really like what you guys are doing. The blues brothers moment I can relate to as we travel with our miniatures game Sailpower and Tech commander and sometimes don’t know how it will be reecived.
See you again at Marcon and origins and possibly Gencon.
Glad we could help with some of the early stuff and glad things are going well for you.
I loved the gig story. It’s the kind of story I only wish I could tell on my own podcast.
/me gives luke a standing ovation for the bleelching!!! YAY!!!!!
Hi Luke and Carrie. Your podcast is fun to listen to. I’ve been listening to it since episode #000 and I’ve enjoyed them all. That is all.
Awesome story about the Showboat. When the crowd is suffering 50 point alcohol and party related IQ loss, it can get difficult to keep them on your side.
