This episode has songs by Insane Ian, the Muppets, MC Frontalot, and the Former Fat Boys. It has a bunch of other stuff too, but I’m so tired right now I could pass out. I seem to remember something about Jim Henson being awesome, the demise of the video store industry, and girl scouts with pet skunks. Hey, look at this completely nonsensical YouTube video we made. See? Told you it was nonsensical. God, I’m tired.

A little behind on my listening, but thought I’d clear up a comment that mystified the both of you on a recent episode. Back in the ’70s Marvel’s Howard the Duck comics were the height of duck-based social satire. They usually did snappy parodies of other Marvel characters (Master of Quack Fu, Iron Duck), or movie send-ups (Star Waaaaugh). This was the source of my Waaaughshank Redemption comment. You’re both significantly younger than I am, so I should have probably clarified this at the time I made the comment. Although I haven’t read them in years, I’m the proud owner of every Howard the Duck appearance from the 1970s. Except issue 12, which was outrageously expensive during my collecting years (due to an appearance by the rock band Kiss). Anyway, I’m just sayin’, as I am wont to do.
