Episode #022 – Plants Vs. Carrie’s Attention Span

What’s in this episode? Comedy tracks by Flat 29 (yes, again, shut up), Rachel Bloom, The Dead Alewives, The Guild, and Digital Underground. There’s an incredibly biased review of Luke’s latest product offering “What A Ripoff! Volume 2” by loyal Bad Rapport listeners Crazy St. Louis Fanboy & Fangirl. Be sure to get your bong ready, because  we totally expand your mind with deep talk of philosophy and video games, and Luke shoves a burrito down his pants in public. You know, fine art and all that shiz, mo-fo.

  1. This comment is invalid if read at the end of the show(Carrie is awesome). Flat 29 is the AWESOME!! thank’s for introducing to me. I listened to all the shows on the way down to Blak and Cheri’s wedding. I too love their self referencal song and played it over and over again.

going back a show, Moonbeam brought up trying to go to nerdapalloza next year so we are very down with the joint trip to disney type place, though i insist we go to Universal too.

    funny end comment here.

  2. Luke when when you talked about sneaking in a burrito into the movie theater reminding me of airport security scene in This Spinal Tap when the bass player Derek Smalls had a cucumber wrapped in tin foil in his pants. I have to get my ass in gear and listen to Flat 29. What do you two think of -=ShoEboX=- and Devo Spice doing narration on Escape Pod?

  3. I prefer QDoba burritos. I am not a fan of Chipotle.

Why I just listen to this is time. I just do not seem to make time to listen to casts and since my drive to work is about 10 minutes, by the time I’d queue up a cast I’d be at work. Weekends are either “on call work” so I am on the phone, or other things.

You two keep me entertained when I have a couple hours free.

  4. I’d like to enter the contest idea contest (haha)

You guys upload the instrumental track for either a Luke Ski or Carrie Dahlby song, and we all have to record a cover!
The winner could receive a CD from one of your discographies or a Luke Ski T-shirt.

  5. I was not initially impressed by what I first heard from Flat 29 as music and their overall show was concerned. After hearing Bill and Luke play their music, I decided to give them another chance and really enjoyed their last podcast and will be getting their music.

While driving to the theater Luke’s talk about sneaking food into them was playing. Not having a taste for candy and not liking nachos, I decided to sneak a bag of Chex Mix and had no problem.

At the end of the Behind the Laughter episode, they stated the Simpsons are from Kentucky. There is a city called Simpsonville in Kentucky which is located next to Shelbyville in Shelbyville County.

  6. Wasn’t Janet reading the Cleveland Plain Dealer? I assumed this was Ohio, but there is also both a Cleveland and a Denton in Texas. They’re hundreds of miles apart.

Look for a new Mystery Ticket Radio episode, with my new regular co-host, coming soon!
