Shockingly, this episode contains no convention recaps at all, and no toddler interruptions until at least half-way through the episode. In this episode, we talk about KFC food innovations, uneventful summer camp memories, outfit-based illnesses, and we start a new segment, “Luke’s Neurosis Of The Week”. We also discuss the recent disappearance of one of Luke’s favorite foods of all time, Mrs. Grass Chicken Noodle Soup. So if you have any in your area, please obtain it and send it to Luke immediately. Another thing you should obtain and send to Luke immediately is the 1982 K-Tel “Just For Laughs” LP. Our comedy tracks in this episode contain a heavy amount of T.D. Mischke, who recently retired from talk radio after 22 years on the air. We also have tracks by Michael Crouser, Pudding Capacity, Liam Lynch, Stephen Lynch, Avenue Q, Mike Phirman, DuJour, and The Gomers. Hope you all enjoy it, and until next time, bye-bye microphone.

I totally understand Luke’s strong focus on guilt. That’s exactly the way my wife is. Her default emotion at all times is guilt: guilt over how others feel about her or what she is or isn’t accomplishing. I wonder if this isn’t a common, driving trait among strongly type-A personalities.
Speaking of madrigal dinners, my wife used to perform with a madrigal group. So, we actually had madrigals at our wedding reception, wandering between the tables and singing to our guests. It was a lot of fun for everyone.
Also, I haven’t checked our local stores for the Mrs. Grass soup, but a quick search on Amazon shows a shop still selling it for $31.42 (including shipping) for a 12 box case (which comes to $2.62 per box).

I have gotten overheated and weak from wearing a suit and similarly, when I was more than an attendee in a suit, that discomfort did not happen.
Still can’t believe it has been three months since LSC and the release of WTE. I agree with Carrie’s POV about why your reaction was more subdued than you wished it was. When I listened to the last recorded FuMPcast, I could hear your reaction to the Battlestar Polka idea and personally believe your reaction to the whole WTE project is what it should have been.
This episode seemed to have the perfect amount of Alex. As stated in past episodes, it can get overwhelming when there is too much and LCBR right now would not sound right without his appearance.
In my area, I can get the regular Mrs. Grass’s Chicken Noodle Soup, but no one carries the Extra Noodle version which I preferred. That really annoys me. I will make sure to get a bunch to send you when I go food shopping next weekend.
