Video Episode #002

Over a year and a half after the video debut of our truncated yet puppet-tastic episode of our podcast “Luke & Carrie’s Bad Rapport”, we at long last have finally finished our follow-up episode, and this one is even more chock full of awesome comedy songs by some of your favorite acts from the FuMP! We also have News of the Stupid, we meet the respective spouses of Luke & Carrie, and we reinforce the supposition that some of these comedy music acts should probably look into getting a restraining order against Luke Ski considering how much time he puts into making fanboyish tribute music videos of their songs without their knowledge. (Warning: Some NSFW language, you might want to wear headphones just to be on the safe side).

Episode length: 17:58.

  1. That was awesome. Love all the puppets, but especially the one of me. Thanks for making my puppet dreams.come true!

  2. Luke after seeing the puppets I can picture Jim Henson in heaven with a smile and a tear in his eye after seeing this.

  3. Fantastic episode!! Extra funny that those were all of Luke’s figures, none were borrowed just for the show. Insane Ian’s videos were perfect. Having heard some of the background details of the filming, this video is even more interesting. Next time, do the next video episode sooner (if Sara lets you 🙂

  4. The video turned out a lot better than I could imagine. My daughter really enjoyed seeing it.

  5. Loved the 2nd video podcast. Seriously – did I see an entire set of Hardee’s California Raisin figures? Would love to see another episode soon!

  6. I have only one criticism, and it’s a minor one. Watch the way you move your puppet mouths. Take a look at the videos of how Jim Henson moved Kermit’s mouth. He didn’t move the mouth for every syllable Kermit said. That makes the mouth move too much.

That being said, the expressions on the angry, monstrous Sara puppet were hilarious. She may become the Miss Piggy of these shows…and I hope there’s going to be a lot more of them.

And as always, the Carrie puppet was the cutest and most appealing puppet, and even resembles its human the most. I just hope the Sara puppet doesn’t get jealous.
