Episode #069 – Blow-Off-able

In this episode which is not titled “Lung Biscuits”, Carrie tells us about Alex’s newest skill set, which includes moving himself in a counter-clockwise circle on the carpet.

Also, Luke Ski gives us his report on GenCon Indy 2012, which was most triumphant.

And this being episode 69, we simply must have some sex talk, so Luke & Carrie talk about how they each lost their virginity (no, not with each other).

We also have some masterful comedy tracks by Flat 29, George Carlin, Garfunkel & Oates, Worm Quartet, Henry Phillips, The Lonely Island, The Foremen, Da Vinci’s Notebook, Paul & Storm, The Frantics, Avenue Q, Sudden Death, and Digital Underground.

We think you’ll agree that this episode is most non-heinous.

Episode Length: 2:26:05

  1. Weapon Brown… oh my god, this is one of the webcomic links I lost due to a HD failure!! I forgot about this one. And there is so much more of it than I had seen. Must read it all now, even though I am at work…

  2. “Uchuu kitaa” is one of the catchphrases from Kamen Rider Fourze. I’m sure Kyle is very disappointed that you didn’t catch it. “Uchuu” is space or universe or cosmos or something like that. I have no idea where “kitaa” comes from, but it’s in big katakana characters in the opening of the show. (Anyone who’s more than a little interested in things Japanese should learn katakana, because it’s easy and often used to write English words.)

I watched a few episodes of KR Fourze, but then the copyright holders got all the early ones taken down. They clearly have the right to do that, but it seems kind of miserly to me. I can’t see the show any other way, because I’m not in their little target demographic. I wonder what Luke and Carrie think about this issue, being content producers themselves.

    Lung biscuits
    Lung biscuits
    What do they mean?

  3. I have a guess regarding lung biscuits; if they are what I think they are, in my family we call them lung cookies; it’s the yellow phlegmy stuff you cough up when you have bronchitis.

Oh, also, there seems to be some kind of malware on the site. Every time I’ve come here the past few days it’s driven my antivirus software bonkers.

  4. First of all I really appreciate all the help in allowing my daughter and I to attend Gencon.

My daughter really enjoyed herself and even was laughing to the point of tears when Jeff walked out on Friday and during the CdSW commercial during Luke’s show. She said the video definitely helps her understand the references she does not get in an audio only format.

During What’s Up Spock, I pointed out to my daughter the characters played by Wil Wheaton and Nichele Nichols and confirmed that Tuvok plays Principal Franklin on iCarly.

There is a weird link to chezbruna.com.br in the sidebar.

  6. I know what lung biscuits are! Pick me! (even though Arkle beat me to it).

Lung biscuits are phlegm. The first, and perhaps only, time I heard the phrase was on my one-and-only visit to ComedySportz in Kansas City, sometime in the early-to-mid 90’s.

It’s back, this time pointing to amenitiesbrasil.com.br. Going to have to batten down your hatches.
