  1. So what Luke is trying to say is that he likes his drinks lukewarm? (rimshot)

  2. I can totally taste the difference between sprite and 7up. but then i’m super tasting freak. In regards to making fump karaokee, Brett G has offered his services for that before i think. I know he said he made some for Joco cruise crazy. Perhaps if he wanted money to make them, we could have a kick starter(says the guy who’s idea it was to have the luke ski kick starter)

  3. I’m only about halfway through this episode, but I wanted to mention something regarding GenCon. I haven’t been to GenCon since the first year at Indy, but if their registration is still the same format (assuming so, since they apparently still use generics), it may be possible for attendees to cash in their generic tickets/tokens/whatever at the convention. Even if they only get convention credit for it, they could still purchase tickets specifically for Luke’s show(s) on-site. Just a thought.

And Carrie, Alex is a very lucky little boy to have such lovely singing to wake up to every day.

  4. First comment: holy sheet, Luke and Carrie are in stereo and sound fantastic!! I am just starting to listen, so comment on the actual show content coming later (I loved the first podcast break with Luke & Alex having the discussion 🙂

  5. I need to take notes while listening, there was a bunch of things I wanted to say yesterday that I forget now. I propose this podcast needs to be renamed “Luke’s & Carrie’s & Alex’s Bad Rapport”. I know he can be interruptive, but I loved hearing Alex’s comments during the podcast. I am another person who can taste the difference between Sprite and 7-Up (Sprite is sweeter, 7-Up is crisper).

  6. As far as beverages for ill people, the idea was for the Sprite or 7-up to settle an upset stomach being a carbonated beverage without the caramel that colas have while providing a small amount of calories since the ill person was unable to keep food down.

I am very glad Chris was able to broadcast the Logan Awards live allowing me to see you accept the well deserved award even though I could not make the trip.

Since Dr. Demento has the tiebreaking vote, I figured Snoopy the Dogg had a chance to win since it finished #1 and would probably get the nod in case of a tie.

I am not surprised the local crowd did not react to the first couple Carson Avenue sketches. When we first heard the first sketch on the way home from Marscon 2010, we were confused and it took the second and third to get the idea of the bit.

  7. If I’m going to have a kid I probably should start learning some more kid friendly songs. Somehow I doubt my little one (if he or she ever exists, which is frankly less likely than ever as I’m about to be moving in with my grandmother at the age of 30; seriously, fuck you Taco Bell, fire the manager who hit me, not me for reporting it) would be calmed by my nasally voice singing something by Leonard Cohen or from Les Mis.

Speaking of Les Mis, have either of you seen the teaser trailer for the new movie, with Anne Hathaway singing I Dreamed A Dream? Frnakly, I think they only went with that song beucase of Susan Boyle. otherwise I imagine they’d have used One Day More.
