Three months have gone by since the last full episode has posted, the timing of which means that (besides promotional episode #127.5), we went completely through MarsCon season with out me posting an episode. In fact, Carrie and I finished recording all the segments of this episode 7 weeks ago (before MarsCon 2017), and I am only now getting around to editing and posting it for you all. Â I apologize for the delay, but hopefully this is an indication of how busy I’ve been lately between creating the MarsCon Dementia Track and my day job making the best cartoon show ever “Mighty MagiSwords”.
In this episode we recap our 2016-to-2017 holiday season experiences, Luke’s visits to the Midwest and Carrie’s visit to the hospital. We also went to the Volo Auto Museum where we got a picture with a replica of “Greased Lightning” because “Grease Wars”. Speaking of fast cars, Luke is very excited that there’s a new arcade game in the “Cruis’n” franshise.

This is the first time im listening to this podcast. im really glad i found it. ive had really bad insomnia and this is a nice way to unwind and have something to occupy myself during this hard time. so thanks guys 🙂 I’ve been a hardcore fan of Mighty Magiswords & Kyle & Luke talk about toons so it was only a matter of time til i found this 🙂

Sorry I haven’t been leaving any comments lately. I’m failing in my duties as #1 Fan. 😉 Seriously though, the last half of 2016 was a clusterfuck and a half; a stressful new job, Orange Foolious winning the election, my Dad dying (he passed on Thanksgiving), and the guilt associated with being 6 months late finish Part 4 of that Star Trek Voyager fic that a lot people inexplicably love. That list is in chronological order, by the way.
But, President Rapey McTinyhands aside, 2017 is already looking up a tiny bit. I’m unemployed again, but the job I had was only seasonal to begin with AND they’ve explicitly I can come back next Holiday season if I don’t have anything lined up before then so by default this period of unemployment is not going to be 4 friggin’ years last the last one. Also, the first draft of the aformentioned fic is with the Beta Readers so that’s good too. Also also, I’ve gotten into those adult coloring books (adult as in for relaxation, not porn). That’s helped a lot with the stress.
So hopefully, I’ll be in a better place to drop comments more often. Until then, I’ll continue to engage, to the best of my admittedly limited abilities, in little acts of rebellion against the current adminstration. Por ejemplo, not referring to the current POTUS by his actual name and title. Two of my go-to names I’ve already used in this post, but I’ve got a whole list of them. Where I can remember who I heard them from, I’ll give proper credit;
