In this episode which was recorded mostly on Mother’s Day, Luke presents Carrie with her Mother’s Day gift from himself and Sara, which gets immediately critiqued by 14-month-old art critic Alex. Later that day, Josh was given large amounts of middle-eastern bread, but that has nothing to do with this podcast.
Carrie launches a new segment “Dahlby’s Dreamsicles”, where she tells us about her strange dreams, with Luke adding one of his own that is most definitely Insane-Ian-related.
In ‘Silver Lining Reviews’, Luke talks about the latest Michael Bay movie “Pain And Gain”, and Carrie talks about the Trey & Matt musical “The Book Of Mormon”.
We also get caught up with 3 episodes worth of comments, and play comedy tracks by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, Eric Coleman, Patton Oswalt, The Book Of Mormon, The Lonely Island, and C.W.A..
The art image for this episode of the Rock riding a skateboard was drawn by Lindsay Smith. ‘Cuz she’s cool like dat.

In this episode, Luke & Carrie go to Golf Mill Mall in Niles, Illinois, just because Carrie wanted to be somewhere that wasn’t the inside of a house. We get caught up on 3 episodes worth of comments, Carrie fills us in on the new proto-words in Alex’s vocabulary, and in a last bit of MarsCon 2013 wrap-up, Luke shows Carrie some of the ‘Boob Tree’ game cards from this year (go to the comments to get links to the images, and tips on green screening). We also reminisce about old commercial jingles & campaigns of the early to mid 80’s, and do the first (albeit sloppy, unprepared, distracted, and somewhat out of breath) installment of a new segment called “Silver Lining Reviews”, where Luke talks about
In this episode,

When I arrived at Carrie’s house to record today’s episode, I had some prepared topics to talk about, one of which was movie & Broadway musicals. Our discussion on that topic went at least twice as long as I had thought it would. When I went home and started trying to pick songs from those musicals to play on the show, the list of tunes I wanted to include kept growing and growing until I said, ‘Screw it, I’m making this a special.’ That is why at no time during this episode do we mention that this is the Bad Rapport MUSICALS SPECIAL which ended up being just under 4 hours long. The first third of this podcast is mostly us talking, doing our usual ‘what have Carrie & Luke been up to lately’ segments, plus News of the Stupid. The latter two-thirds is the Musical Special and is so jammed packed with music, it’ll make you break into a spontaneous dance number at your cubicle. So prepare yourself to hear awesome classic showtunes featuring Robert Preston, Kevin Kline, Tim Curry, Caroll Burnett, Steve Martin, Jim Broadbent, Catherine Zeta Jones, Sasha Baron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter, and a cover by
This is not a regular episode of Bad Rapport, this is a commercial for
It’s New Year’s Eve, and what better way is there to spend the evening and say goodbye to 2012 than to listen to some of the best comedy music of this year that slipped through the cracks and somehow never got played on any of our previous 2012 Bad Rapport episodes? Well, there’s probably a lot of better ways to spend the evening on New Year’s Eve, but tough, you’re stuck with awesome tunes by
